AnTuTu announces iPhone 15 Pro Max benchmark scores! Claims Apple did not squeeze toothpaste
AnTuTu announces iPhone 15 Pro Max benchmark scores, denies Apple squeezing toothpaste
【Phoneauto News】On September 19th, Antutu released the benchmark scores for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. In terms of specific scores, the Antutu V10 comprehensive score for the iPhone 15 Pro Max is 1,641,883 points. The CPU score is 392,643 points, the GPU score is 587,734 points, the MEM score is 306,164 points, and the UX score is 345,342 points.
It is understood that the processor used in the iPhone 15 Pro Max is Apple’s latest A17 Pro, which is also the first model in the A series to have “Pro” as a suffix. This processor is the first TSMC 3nm process SoC to be commercially available in large quantities, with the number of transistors increasing from 16 billion to 19 billion.

The A17 Pro still has 6 CPU cores, divided into 2 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores, but with microarchitecture improvements. The GPU part has undergone the biggest changes, and is also the source of the “Pro” name. Not only has the number of cores increased from 5 to 6, but there is also a new architecture design, with a 20% increase in peak performance; introducing mesh shading and supporting real-time hardware-level ray tracing for the first time. However, the A17 Pro is not the standard configuration for the iPhone 15 series, as the standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus use the A16 processor. As a reference, the benchmark score for the previous generation iPhone 14 Pro Max, which also uses the A16 processor, is 1,474,011 points. Antutu believes that this improvement by Apple is quite impressive, without squeezing the toothpaste.
