【PhoneAuto News】Recently, BYD announced that the cumulative sales of its Yuan PLUS model have exceeded 500,000 units. This achievement was made in just 20 months, making it the fastest-selling new energy SUV from a Chinese brand. The Yuan PLUS Champion Edition retains the design of the current model while adding two new exterior colors, Oxygen Blue and Rhythm Purple, and discontinuing the Cool Red exterior color. However, choosing the Rhythm Purple color requires an additional payment of 2,000 yuan. The dimensions of the Yuan PLUS Champion Edition are 4455mm/1875mm/1615mm and it has a wheelbase of 2720mm. The body lines are dynamic, and the wheel design is unique. The rear window and rear windshield are made of privacy glass.

As for the interior, the new car adds a luxurious light beige interior and retains the previously innovative design elements, such as the coiled air vents, wave-shaped center console, and stringed instrument-inspired audio decoration. The instrument panel is 5 inches, and the floating pad is 12.8 inches, which remains mostly unchanged. In addition, it has added features such as 3D transparent panoramic imaging, intelligent up and down power, parent-child mode, and screen-clearing mode.

In terms of power, the Yuan PLUS Champion Edition adopts the e-platform 3.0 technology and is equipped with a heat pump air conditioning system and an 8-in-1 drive motor. The motor power is the same across the entire lineup, with a maximum power of 150 kW and a peak torque of 310 N·m.

In terms of range, the Yuan PLUS Champion Edition offers two different battery capacity versions: 49.92 kWh and 60.48 kWh, corresponding to a range of 430 km and 510 km, respectively. The 430 km version supports 70 kW DC fast charging, while the 510 km version supports 80 kW DC fast charging. Charging from 30% to 80% takes only half an hour.
