On August 16th this year, BYD held a launch event for the BYD Fangcheng Leopard, officially releasing the new model, Leopard 5. However, at that time, BYD did not disclose the price of the “Leopard 5”.

According to the introduction, the Fangcheng Leopard “Leopard 5” is a new super hybrid hardcore SUV under BYD. The overall design of the car adopts the aesthetic design of “Light of the Equation” and is consistent with the other two models of Fangcheng Leopard. BYD has stated that they have incorporated aesthetic thinking into optics in order to create a unique design.

In terms of power system, the Fangcheng Leopard “Leopard 5” uses the BYD DMO hybrid platform, equipped with a 1.5T high-power Snapdragon engine, front and rear independent suspension, dual-layer high-power ultra-safe blade battery, and off-road-specific vertical EHS. According to the news from the launch event, the Fangcheng Leopard “Leopard 5” has three versions, including the Explorer version priced at 289,800 yuan, the Navigator version priced at 309,800 yuan, and the Yunxuan flagship version priced at 352,800 yuan.
