【PhoneAuto News】At the Shanghai Auto Show held in April, many car companies brought their new cars to the exhibition, which also made the domestic new car market very lively in May. Although May has passed halfway, there are still many new cars to be launched in the second half of the month. On the afternoon of May 15th, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers released a report, which detailed the key new car models that will be launched in the second half of the month.

From the list, there will be as many as 12 key new cars launched in the next half month, of which 6 are conventional fuel models: the new adventurer, the all-new Regal, the all-new Accord, the new Hongqi HS5, the Mazda CX-50 line, and the Ruihu 9. The other 6 are new energy models – Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV, GAC E9, all-new NIO ES6, Galaxy L7, Haval Xilong/Xilong MAX.

In terms of time, it is expected that as many as 4 new cars will be launched on the 15th (today), including GAC E9, the new Buick Regal, Haval Xilong and Xilong MAX. Among them, GAC E9 is positioned as a large flagship MPV, adopting a 2+2+3 seven-seat layout and plug-in hybrid power, providing 3 product lines (PRO/MAX/Master), with a pre-sale price of 330,000-390,000 yuan. The all-new Regal will have a completely new interior and exterior design, equipped with a 30-inch integrated 6K curved screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and other configurations, with a pre-sale price of 220,000-290,000 yuan. The all-new Haval models Xilong and Xilong MAX are positioned as compact and mid-size SUVs respectively. The latter will be equipped with Haval’s self-developed Hi4 intelligent electric hybrid four-wheel drive and have a pre-sale price of 170,000-190,000 yuan, targeting the BYD Song PLUS DM-i.

As for other new cars, the Geely brand new SUV Galaxy L7 will be launched on May 18th. As the first car launched under the new Galaxy brand, it is positioned as a compact SUV, built on the e-CMA architecture, with an expected starting price of 150,000 yuan. Guangzhou Honda will launch the 11th generation all-new Accord on May 20th, which will offer a plug-in hybrid version for the first time and may have some impact on the domestic heavy vehicle market. Chery will also bring the all-new flagship SUV Tiggo 9 this month. The car is positioned as a mid-size SUV, offering 5/7-seater versions, with a pre-sale price of 155,000-175,000 yuan.
