Guangdong Hosts 'Digital Technology in Ecology' Conference for Smart Channel and New Ecology Cooperation Forum
【Mobile China News】On the afternoon of November 9, 2023, the Digital Technology Ecology Conference and Smart Channel New Ecology Cooperation Forum was held in Guangzhou. The theme of this forum is “Gathering Ecology, Winning the Future”, aiming to deeply communicate with industry chain partners, seek new opportunities for cooperative development, create a new pattern of transformation and upgrading, and continue to build a customer-centric new digital marketing service channel system. The forum released the digital chain 3.0 “100,000 Store Plan” and the ecological cooperation “Starry Sky Plan”, and established the Tianyi Cloud Map Space Computing Industry Ecology Alliance. Tang Ke, Deputy General Manager of China Telecom, delivered a speech, and China Telecom and related partners made keynote speeches.
Tang Ke believes that the channel “three upgrades” have built a new type of customer-centric channel sales service system, created a “three-in-one” channel capability of full-scenario, full-process, and full-customer, achieved significant substantial breakthroughs, and proposed three initiatives for future industrial ecological cooperation and development: First, jointly build a new retail ecology for channels, build a large-scale channel model, promote the upgrading of the OAO and couponization platforms, optimize AI digital assistants, micro-targeting, and live streaming tools, and jointly promote the digitalization of channels with industry ecosystem partners to enhance channel retail digitization capabilities; Second, jointly expand the new space of digital technology, jointly expand the ecological space through offline ecosystem customer acquisition, online service enhancement, vertical category customer cooperation and operation, and integration of basic and emerging business sales, expanding the industrial boundary and creating new business growth points together; Third, jointly stimulate new driving forces for industrial upgrading, continuously upgrade digital chains, deeply cultivate coupon ecological cooperation, build intelligent digital complexes, accelerate the iteration of smart communities and digital villages, expand the industrial boundaries together, and create new business growth points.
Guo Yong, General Manager of China Telecom’s Omni-Channel Operation Center, proposed in his keynote speech “Technology Leading, Future Omni-Channel” that the omnichannel builds a new integration space for numbers and reality with marketing AI as the core capability, accelerates the construction of algorithmic stores, builds a platform for scene + value + business container, drives the realization of new channel value scale, and announced six important plans for the omnichannel: Internet competitive innovation plan, 100,000 stores, 100 billion coupon plan, Tianyi Cloud Map soaring plan, 100,000 smart community plan, digital village resonance plan, and high-speed electric concentric circle rejuvenation plan.

During this forum, the digital chain 3.0 “100,000 Store Plan” was released, focusing on building integrated online and offline chain operation capabilities, consolidating intensive operation efficiency, ensuring chain operation scale, accelerating the transformation of the Telecom chain army, strengthening the China Telecom store retail system, enterprise WeChat, and micro-store digital platforms, aggregating precise delivery of internal and external ecological resources, and planning to expand chain operation capabilities to 100,000 China Telecom stores by the end of 2024, becoming a common touchpoint, sales, and service ecological interface for industry chain partners, and achieving a doubling of sales scale.
The forum also launched the ecological cooperation “Starry Sky Plan”, focusing on innovative cooperation processes with ecological partners based on tokenization capabilities, pooling resources, services and products from multiple parties to empower channel consumers, agents, etc., realizing full-process manageability and visibility of resources, and expanding the depth of ecological cooperation. In 2024, China Telecom will join forces with numerous industry chain partners, focusing on key scenarios such as terminal operations, marketing planning, and ecosystem operation, recruiting a variety of explosive products to meet diverse user needs, investing over billions in exclusive tokenization resources, and promoting the scale and operational efficiency of industry chain partners.
To promote the deep integration of industry, academia, and research in the field of 5G+ spatial computing, driving the leading position of Tianyi Cloud Atlas products and the promotion of industrial scale, and continuously building a leading domestic digital space operator, China Telecom, together with Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, the Virtual Reality and Metaverse Industry Alliance, the National Virtual Reality Innovation Center, ZTE, Huawei, SenseTime, ROKID, PICO, Netease Youdao, Computational Aesthetics, and other scientific and technological industrial ecosystem partners, jointly established the “Tianyi Cloud Atlas Spatial Computing Industry Ecological Alliance”. Prior to this, China Telecom led the industry in releasing the “5G Spatial Computing White Paper”, filling the industry gap.
In addition, under the guidance and witnessing of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, China Telecom, together with the China Employee Development Foundation, the China Red Cross Foundation, Alibaba Public Welfare, and Meituan Company, held the Love Wing Station Public Welfare Alliance and Light Up China Launch Ceremony, further implementing the requirements of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions’ “Dual 15 Project for Trade Union Service Stations”. At the same time, China Telecom presented awards such as the “Excellent Store Award”, “Scale Contribution Award”, “Innovative Sales Award”, and “Ecological Cooperation Award” to outstanding channel partners.
At this forum, leaders and representatives from the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, China Employee Development Foundation, China Red Cross Foundation, China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts, National Virtual Reality Innovation Center, and Zhipu AI attended the conference to conduct in-depth exchanges and discussions on the new ecology of intelligent channels, seek new opportunities for cooperative development, outline a new blueprint for technological development, and explore new ways of channel transformation.
