Geely's new all-electric MPV takes aim at top-rated vehicles with Vice President Super MEGA at the helm!

【PhoneAuto News】On December 8th, PhoneAuto noticed that the latest information indicates that Geely will launch a pure electric MPV model, which may target Ideal MEGA under Ideal Auto. The latter is Ideal’s first MPV model and the first pure electric model, currently gaining a lot of attention.

According to relevant reports, Geely Holding Group Chairman Li Shufu accompanied Zhejiang provincial leaders on a visit to the LEVC factory in Yiwu, where an interior space image of the pure electric MPV was exposed. From the related pictures, it can be seen that Geely’s MPV model will adopt a three-row six-seat layout, with a shared rail design for the second and third-row seats.

It is reported that LEVC is the first space-oriented pure electric architecture developed based on the vast architecture, abbreviated as the SOA architecture. The SOA architecture is the largest among the different-sized branch architectures of the vast architecture, with a wheelbase that can be extended from 3000mm to 3800mm. The dimensions of the front row seating height range from 320mm to 400mm. It adopts the Ningde Times CTP battery system integration technology, which can accommodate 73-120kWh battery packs and achieve a range of over 600km+. It can achieve 10%-80% state of charge (SOC) in 30 minutes, and replenish 200km of range in 10 minutes. It uses a permanent magnet synchronous electric drive system, with IGBT and SiC motor efficiency of 88% and 90%, respectively. The drive modes include front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, four-wheel drive, single motor, and dual motor.

Regarding Geely’s new MPV model, Yang Xueliang, Senior Vice President of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, expressed in a post: looking forward to the super-sized pure electric MPV, Super MEGA!
