【phoneauto News】On August 10th, phoneauto noticed that the Tank brand under Great Wall Motors has launched their new model, the 2024 Tank 300. It is reported that compared to the 2023 Tank 300, the 2024 model has mainly upgraded its configuration and performance. Currently, the 2024 Tank 300 comes in three versions, with the Challenger version priced at 199,800 RMB, the Conqueror version at 216,800 RMB, and the Voyager version at 226,800 RMB.

In terms of powertrain, according to the official introduction, the 2024 Tank 300 continues to be equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine, featuring a series of advanced technologies such as direct injection, Miller cycle, and DVVT dual variable valve timing. The maximum net power of this model can reach 180kW, with a maximum torque of 380Nm and a thermal efficiency of 38%. It is also matched with Great Wall’s self-developed 9AT transmission, with a first gear ratio of 5.288 and a maximum transmission efficiency of 97%, capable of handling a maximum torque of 750N·m. Moreover, the Challenger and Conqueror versions also support L2+ level driving assistance and have added features such as one-touch up/down for all four windows, 50W wireless charging for mobile phones, and original ETC. The Voyager version has upgraded to a 48V mild hybrid system based on the BSG integrated motor.

According to official data, in July 2023, Great Wall Motors sold 109,091 new vehicles, with 28,920 of them being new energy vehicles and 27,007 being overseas vehicles. The monthly sales volume of the Tank brand was 13,490, with a year-on-year growth rate of 8.15%. The sales volume of the Tank 500 Hi4-T reached 2,023 units, and the total number of orders exceeded 8,000.
