Recently, there have been reports that the HarmonyOS NEXT Developer Preview is no longer compatible with Android. Huawei may release a HarmonyOS version next year that is not compatible with Android. Industry insiders have stated, “Huawei does have plans for this. They plan to release a HarmonyOS version that is not compatible with Android next year. However, there has been no official notification internally, so the specific release date is not yet clear.”
