Huawei's Inaugural Overseas Factory in France to Produce Over 1 Billion Devices per Year
[Mobile China News] Recently, Mobile China noticed that Zhang Minggang, the vice president of Huawei France, announced that Huawei’s first overseas factory will be completed in France and is expected to start production by “the end of 2025”. He stated that the construction work is progressing orderly, with the goal of “producing 1 billion devices annually and planning to produce and supply the entire European market in France”, with an estimated total investment of 200 million euros. This major decision marks a new milestone in Huawei’s globalization strategy.
In addition, the construction and operation of Huawei’s overseas new factories will create approximately 500 direct employment opportunities for the local community and also promote the development of related industrial chains, further stimulating economic growth. The establishment of overseas factories by Huawei also reflects the deepening of its globalization strategy. As a global leader in communication equipment suppliers, Huawei has been committed to promoting its products and services worldwide. This factory in France will not only better serve the European market’s demand but also enhance Huawei’s competitiveness in the global market.
It is worth mentioning that just a few days ago, the 2023 Huawei Pollen Annual Conference was held at Huawei’s Songshan Lake base. It is noteworthy that at this annual conference, Yu Chengdong, Huawei’s executive director, CEO of the Terminal BG, and chairman of the Intelligent Car Solutions BU, announced that Huawei will soon launch very leading-edge, innovative, and disruptive products next year. Yu Chengdong also said, “At that time, you can see how we can rewrite the history of this industry. I hope to continuously bring beyond everyone’s expectations and do things that others cannot think of or cannot accomplish, and even things they dare not think of.”
