According to previous reports, the new car will be launched as a “new generation” model, which will make its debut before the end of this year and is planned to be launched for sale in 2024. At the same time, the new car is expected to continue to be imported to the domestic market in the form of imports next year for sales. Its main competitors include BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Audi Q7, and Cadillac XT6 and other models.

In terms of appearance, from the preview image released by the official, the new car’s headlight group uses L-shaped daytime running lights, with three LED light sources inside. The grille is a black mesh style, which looks powerful. The taillights are the Lexus logo in English and a red through-style taillight group.

Regarding power, it is reported that the new generation GX may be equipped with an electrified power system to meet increasingly stringent environmental standards and improve torque output under low-speed conditions. The news shows that the new Lexus GX is expected to be equipped with a 2.4T Hybrid MAX hybrid power engine and a 3.5T i-Force Max hybrid power engine, with a transmission system that matches a 6-speed or 10-speed automatic manual gearbox. At the same time, the new car is expected to launch a 2.5L plug-in hybrid model for consumers to choose from.

In addition, the interior of the new car will also borrow the same design elements from the RX model, equipped with a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, and equipped with a liquid crystal instrument and a 14-inch suspended LCD central control screen. The lower part also provides a new electronic gear shifting mechanism.
