Unveiling of New Cadillac CT5 Official Pictures Released, Showroom Display Cars Arrive, Launching Soon on the Market

On December 8, PhoneAuto noticed that SAIC General Motors Cadillac released the first official image of the new CT5. The new car continues the design of the US version from 2025 and focuses on upgrading the interior to the latest VCS intelligent cockpit from General Motors, while also upgrading the overall configuration. As a reference, the current CT5 has a suggested retail price of 289,700 to 361,700 yuan, with widespread terminal discounts of over 50,000 yuan. The official statement says that the display cars have been gradually shipped to stores and the new car will soon be launched.

The official image highlights the front styling of the new Cadillac CT5, with the grille still featuring the family-style shield design. The black mesh grille still looks sporty, with prominent lower bumper, and the headlights are redesigned with a new style, giving a stronger overall sense and a more aggressive visual effect.

Compared to the exterior, the interior of the new car has undergone more significant changes. The entire cockpit is redesigned to feature the same VCS intelligent cockpit design as the Cadillac Lyric, including a 9K/33-inch floating screen with a wraparound design, as well as an electronic gear shift lever, 126-color ambient lighting, AKG audio system, wireless phone charging, and other functions, creating a more high-tech cockpit atmosphere.

As for the powertrain, the new Cadillac CT5 will continue to be equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine with variable cylinder technology, with a maximum power of 237 horsepower and a maximum torque of 350 Nm, matched with a 10-speed automatic transmission in a longitudinal layout. According to the current models, the high-end version of the car will also incorporate an adaptive electromagnetic suspension system and a mechanical limited slip differential, supporting adjustable damping and rear automatic limited slip. In addition, based on previous reports, the new CT5 will offer luxury, distinguished, platinum, and platinum super-assisted driving versions, all of which will feature matrix headlights and sequential turn signals, with the AKG audio system replacing the Bose audio system.
