New Global CEO appointed for Faraday Future with current CEO, Chen Xuefeng, relocating to China

【Phoneauto News】On September 22nd, Faraday Future (FF) announced the appointment of Matthias Aydt as the global CEO. The current global CEO, Chen Xuefeng (XF), will continue to serve as the CEO of FF China and also hold the position of Deputy CEO of Global Industrialization.

Faraday Future announced today that Matthias Aydt, who has been working at FF for many years, has been appointed as the global CEO of FF, effective from September 29th, 2023. At the same time, Mr. Chen Xuefeng (XF), the current global CEO of FF, will be stationed in China from September 29th, 2023, and continue to serve as the CEO of FF China, as well as the Deputy CEO of Global Industrialization.

Matthias Aydt will focus on driving the production and delivery of FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance. Mr. Chen Xuefeng will focus on the launch of FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance in China and the next stage of the company’s development, including the implementation of the dual home-field strategy in China and the US. In addition, Mr. Chen Xuefeng will also focus on the promotion of FF’s business in China, including the Chinese joint venture, entry into the Chinese market, integration of the Chinese supply chain, and continuous cost reduction.

According to official introduction, Matthias Aydt has been working at FF for more than seven years, currently serving as the Head of FF Product Execution, and has also held roles such as Head of FF Product Definition, Mobile Ecosystem, and Business Development. Prior to joining FF, Matthias Aydt worked for many years in automotive companies, OEMs, and suppliers, leading project management and vehicle engineering teams. Mr. Matthias Aydt has over 40 years of experience in manufacturing, technology, and operations.
