Foreign media reports that the new Kia K5 will be equipped with a new 1.6T engine and an electric motor to form a hybrid system. It is expected to be launched overseas in 2024. In the domestic market, the current domestically available K5 models are equipped with a 2.0T engine, with a price range of 289,900 to 3,409,000 yuan.

Compared with the models currently on sale, the interior of the new Kia K5 shown in the official image is not much different. The overall design uses a blue/white dual-tone color scheme, and the surround-style center console layout has enhanced a homely atmosphere. At the same time, the car also has a floating dual-screen and a knob shifter. In terms of details, the central part of the new K5’s through-type air outlet integrates a “hazard light” switch and a yellow decorative strip. In addition, the new K5 also adds a touch-controlled air conditioning adjustment panel. In terms of features, the new Kia K5 offers HUD heads-up display, automatic air conditioning, knob shifter, digital key, Level 2 driving assist system, lane change with turn signal assistance, and other functions.
