【PhoneAuto News】Recently, according to PhoneAuto, NIO has officially announced that the new ES6 will be released on May 24th and test drives will be available. Delivery will begin on May 25th. Currently, the new car is available for pre-order. Users can pay a deposit of 5000 yuan and convert it to a deposit before July 31st, 2023 to enjoy limited-time pre-sale benefits, including a Moon-themed appearance kit worth 8000 yuan and a glowing orange caliper. In addition, customers can also receive free use of NOP+ for two years worth 9120 yuan.

The brand new NIO ES6

The brand new ES6 is built on the NT2.0 platform and uses the X-Bar family design language. The dimensions of the car have been increased except for the height. The front of the car is equipped with a laser radar. The interior design of the new car is more refined, and it is equipped with a 201-inch AR screen, 7.1.4 Dolby panoramic sound system, and 23 speakers.

In terms of appearance, the new NIO ES6 has some changes compared to the previous model. It adopts a split-style headlight design, and the slender daytime running light shape makes the vehicle look sharper. The laser radar and camera module are still mounted on the top of the vehicle, but the shape is not as abrupt as the previous generation, and the overall design is consistent with the new NIO ES8/ET7. The length, width, and height of the new car are 4854mm/1995mm/1703mm, and the wheelbase is 2915mm. It provides a variety of different styles of 20-inch and 21-inch wheels to choose from.

In terms of interior, the brand new NIO ES6 basically retains the design style of the previous generation, equipped with a 10.2-inch LCD instrument panel, a 12.8-inch OLED central control screen, a zero-gravity queen co-pilot, and 23 speakers that support Dolby panoramic sound. The new car may also be equipped with an upgraded version of PanoCinema panoramic digital cockpit, bringing new upgrades in intelligent cockpit and intelligent driving.

As for power, the new car adopts a self-developed dual-motor four-wheel drive system. The EDS electric drive system uses a highly-integrated modular design of motor, reducer, and power electronic unit (PEU). The car has a front 150kW motor and a rear 230kW motor with a hundred-kilometer acceleration of only 4.5 seconds. In addition, the new car also adopts self-developed ICC intelligent chassis domain controller, vehicle chassis system, and CDC dynamic suspension damping system.
