【Phoneauto News】For electric vehicle manufacturers, battery safety has always been one of the most concerning issues for people, so car companies are often cautious when it comes to issues related to vehicle batteries. On the evening of August 31st, Ji Ke Auto released a statement, once again responding to the smoke incident in Wuhu Ji Ke 001.

Ji Ke 001

In the statement, Ji Ke explained the cause of the accident. Ji Ke stated that while driving, the tire pressure pressed against a marble floor tile, causing the tile to lift and collide with the front right side of the battery pack, resulting in damage to the battery cells. Ji Ke stated, “This incident was not caused by product quality issues, but the car owner involved, in addition to normal insurance claims to compensate for their own losses, unreasonably demanded a large amount of compensation from Ji Ke without any factual or legal basis. Even after Ji Ke explained the reasons in detail and explicitly refused, the car owner ignored the facts and spread false statements through the media, attempting to achieve an unreasonable claim through malicious defamation and threats.”
