The official account of OnePlus India wrote in a recent tweet, “The real OnePlus experience is coming soon, stay tuned.” They also attached an image showing the folding mechanism of the new device, which is designed to fold inward.

It is reported that OnePlus Open, the first foldable phone from OnePlus, is actually the OPPO Find N3 in China. The former will be launched in India and other markets, while the Find N3 is expected to be only available in China.

Although it has not been officially confirmed, it is said that OnePlus Open will be released in India on October 19th.

Recently, the real device of this foldable phone was exposed when Wang Shi, the founder of Vanke Group, was spotted carrying this phone. The leaked images show that the new device features a large circular camera module, consistent with the early renders. According to the leaks, the camera of OnePlus Open is tuned by Hasselblad, and both the main display and the outer display will be equipped with a hole-punch camera.

As for the detailed specifications, it is said that OnePlus Open will have a 7.8-inch 2K AMOLED main display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The external display will be a 6.3-inch AMOLED panel with the same 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. The main camera system may include a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 48-megapixel auxiliary camera, and a 64-megapixel lens. It will have a built-in 4,800mAh battery and support 100W fast charging.

According to some sources, the price of OnePlus Open in India will be around 110,000 to 120,000 Indian Rupees (approximately 9,600 to 10,500 Chinese Yuan). This makes it cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5, but still an expensive foldable phone.
