【Phoneauto News】Redmi 12 5G and 4G versions were recently launched and officially went on sale in India. The domestic version will go on sale at 10:00 on August 16th. According to Xiaomi officials, this phone became the best-selling 5G smartphone on the first day of sales on Amazon India.

Xiaomi revealed that Redmi 12 5G sold out on the first day of sales on Amazon India, but did not disclose the specific sales volume. According to the company, the orders for this device came from all over the country.

In India, the base version of Redmi 12 5G is priced at 11,999 rupees (approximately 1050 yuan) and comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also has two other versions, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, priced at 13,499 rupees (approximately 1150 yuan) and 15,499 rupees (approximately 1350 yuan) respectively.

In terms of specifications, Redmi 12 5G is equipped with a 6.79-inch FHD+ display with a brightness of 550 nits, an aspect ratio of 20.5:9, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a screen-to-body ratio of 91%. The phone uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 mobile platform and Adreno GPU for graphics processing. It has a 50 million pixel dual rear camera and an 8 million pixel front camera for selfies. The phone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. In other aspects, the device has an IP53 splash-proof rating and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
