Redmi Note 13 series screen gets major upgrade, rivalling or surpassing flagship devices
【Phoneauto News】On September 14th, Redmi officially announced that the new Note 13 series will be officially released at 7 pm on September 21st. After the official announcement, the familiar preheating stage will follow. On the afternoon of the 14th, Lu Weibing, Xiaomi Group’s partner, president, international department president, and Redmi brand general manager, went all out and released multiple configurations related to the new phone. Among them, the screen, which is the most important component of the phone, has also brought significant upgrades.
Redmi Note 13 series
Lu Weibing said that the Redmi Note 13 Pro series has a major screen upgrade, equipped with the second generation 1.5K high-brightness eye protection screen, with flagship-level luminous materials, which can greatly improve luminous efficiency. It also has flagship-level brightness, with a peak brightness of up to 1800nit. It also has flagship-level eye protection: supports 1920Hz high-frequency dimming, multi-scenario rhythm, low blue light, and can achieve flicker-free eye protection. From the poster, it can also be seen that this screen also supports high-brightness DC dimming and triple TUV Rheinland eye protection certification, which is comparable to or even surpasses some flagship phones in terms of eye protection.

Digital blogger leak
Some digital bloggers have also released information about the screen of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+. It uses GGV glass protection and the 1.5K Huaxing C7 substrate. The overall brightness is 1200nit, and the peak brightness is 1800nit. It supports a 1920Hz+ class DC dimming solution right out of the box, and also supports under-screen fingerprint recognition. The instantaneous touch sampling rate of 2160Hz even surpasses flagship phones. According to Redmi’s official preheating, the Pro+ model will also adopt a curved screen design, becoming Redmi’s first curved screen phone. The curved design effectively reduces the width of the borders on both sides, and the 2.37mm chin further improves the screen-to-body ratio of the new phone.
