【Phoneauto News】On October 8th, SAIC Group released its production and sales report: the wholesale sales volume of vehicles reached 482,000 units in September, continuing to maintain its industry-leading position and setting a new monthly sales record for this year. In addition, SAIC’s new energy vehicle terminal deliveries reached 102,000 units in September, with wholesale sales volume in overseas markets reaching 105,000 units, both achieving the best performance this year!

“New energy vehicles” show double growth in both year-on-year and month-on-month comparisons. From January to September this year, SAIC’s new energy vehicle terminal deliveries reached 683,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 18.2%, maintaining the second position among Chinese auto companies in terms of sales volume. Among them, SAIC delivered 102,000 new energy vehicles to users in September, with a year-on-year increase of 29.6% and a month-on-month increase of 18.8%. Monthly sales of new energy vehicles exceeded 100,000 units for the first time this year, continuously accelerating on the new track.

Overseas markets continue to lead strongly. From January to September, SAIC’s cumulative wholesale sales volume in overseas markets reached 838,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 21.8%, maintaining its strong position among Chinese auto companies. In September, SAIC’s wholesale sales volume in overseas markets reached 105,000 units, setting a new high for the year; MG, an independent brand, continued its impressive performance in the European market, with monthly sales reaching 28,000 units, doubling year-on-year. It ranked at the top of the new car sales rankings in countries such as the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Norway, and Ireland. MG ZS successfully won the monthly sales champion of a single model in the Spanish automotive market.

In the first three quarters of this year, SAIC’s wholesale sales volume of complete vehicles were 890,000, 1.18 million, and 1.31 million units respectively, achieving a quarterly increase in sales volume. In the upcoming traditional market peak season in the fourth quarter, it will further strive for higher sales targets.
