As the launch event approaches, various news about the new devices has also started to surface. Following the release of related specifications and prices, the release date for the early adopters of the new devices has also been leaked.

On the evening of July 24th, a digital blogger revealed that the early adopter version of the Samsung Z Fold5 is expected to go on sale and be shipped on August 7th. If this information is true, it means that there is only a 12-day gap between the release and the first batch of sales for the new device. In comparison, the previous generation Samsung Z Fold4 was globally released on August 10th last year, while the early adopter program in mainland China did not start until August 26th.

In addition to the sales time of the new device, the blogger also previously revealed the domestic prices related to the new Samsung foldable smartphones. The blogger stated that the starting prices for the Samsung Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 are 12,999 yuan and 7,499 yuan, respectively. Among them, the starting version of the Samsung Z Fold5 provides 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, while the starting version of the Samsung Z Flip5 offers 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

According to various previous leaks, the Samsung Z Fold5 will still be equipped with a 6.2-inch external screen and a 7.6-inch internal screen, and will continue to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy mobile platform. The new device will feature a rear triple camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera, a 10-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.
