【PhoneAuto News】Recently, PhoneAuto learned that Volvo announced the release of the 2024 XC40 RECHARGE and C40 RECHARGE electric vehicles. The official starting price for the 2024 XC40 is 282,900 to 3,220,000 yuan, and the official starting price for the 2024 C40 is 292,000 to 3,420,000 yuan. The biggest change in the new models is the powertrain, with single-motor models switching from front-wheel drive to rear-wheel drive, and all models experiencing a significant increase in electric range.

In terms of appearance, the 2024 Volvo XC40 and C40 electric models retain the overall design of the previous models. The car colors now include misty gray and sea cloud blue, while silver gray has been discontinued. The vehicles also feature a completely new wheel design, with different widths for the front and rear tires to enhance performance experience.

The acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 7.3 seconds, and the top speed has been increased to 180 km/h. The new XC40 and C40 electric models in the long-range version have an electric range of 640 km and 660 km, respectively (according to CLTC standards).
