The Cadillac Lyriq IQ debuts at 927,200 yuan with a 724km maximum range
【Phoneauto News】In recent years, General Motors has decided to achieve great success in the field of electrification, and its luxury brand Cadillac is no exception. From the handcrafted CELESTIQ super sedan to the LYRIQ mid-size SUV, Cadillac has demonstrated its vision for future travel. And now, this American brand has launched a new electric SUV, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ.
The Escalade IQ is one of the most important models under Cadillac, so Cadillac has spared no effort in its design and technology. This electric SUV adopts General Motors’ Ultium platform and is equipped with a battery pack of over 200 kilowatt-hours, providing a range of up to 450 miles (about 724 kilometers). Moreover, it has 750 horsepower and a peak torque of 1064 Newton meters, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour (about 96 kilometers per hour) in less than 5 seconds.

The Escalade IQ is not only impressive in terms of power, but also has a unique style in terms of exterior and interior design. It features huge 24-inch wheels and is equipped with Michelin Primacy tires, which makes it still look very imposing. It also retains the iconic vertical taillights and blade-style headlights of the Escalade, but the overall design is more streamlined and modern. In terms of interior, the Escalade IQ adopts a full-width infotainment screen, similar to the design language of the CELESTIQ sedan. The screen can display various navigation, entertainment, and vehicle status information, and can also provide independent entertainment content for passengers.
In addition to luxury and technology, the Escalade IQ also has practicality and off-road capabilities. It can tow trailers weighing up to 8,000 pounds (about 3,629 kilograms), enough to meet various needs. It is also equipped with a four-wheel steering system, which improves maneuverability and stability. One of its distinctive features is the Cadillac Arrival Mode, which allows the vehicle to move at low speeds diagonally, making it convenient for parking or bypassing obstacles.
As for the price, the starting price of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ is approximately $130,000 (about 937,200 yuan). The vehicle will be produced at General Motors’ Zero Plant in Hamtramck, Michigan, and production of the Escalade IQ will begin next summer, with deliveries to customers expected by the end of 2024.
