Li Nan pointed out that although China’s supply chain has world-leading levels in management, technology, and quality, they have overlooked the contribution of Western brands, especially Apple. Apple integrates the industrial chains of multiple industries, and has put forward requirements for management standards, technical equipment supplier support, process requirements, and yield control capabilities. It has provided stable order support and contracts with high reputation for the rapid development of the Chinese consumer electronics industry chain over the past few decades.

He also said that in the future, this burden will fall on domestic smartphone brands such as Huawei, OPPO, and Vivo. Although some people question these brands, their contract reputation throughout the entire industry chain can rival Apple. Li Nan believes that if there are more domestic brands like this and fewer brands that excessively exploit the supply chain and only pursue 5% profit margin, it can effectively compensate for the impact of Apple’s withdrawal from China.
