The first model of Polestar, the Polestar 01, was officially launched in August this year, with two models available, with official guide prices of 349,900 yuan and 359,900 yuan respectively. The Polestar 01 is positioned as a mid-size SUV, offering two seating layouts, six-seater and seven-seater, and is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5T engine and front and rear electric motors. Considering the positioning of the Polestar 01, it is expected to compete with other mid-size electric SUVs such as the Ideal L7/L8, the Lynk & Co 09 EM-P, and the Tengshi N8 DM.

It is understood that the Polestar 01 adopts a relatively square body shape, with a large-sized front grille and a black decorative panel with a thick edge, together with irregularly shaped headlights, which also bring a certain degree of recognition. In terms of colors, the Polestar 01 offers six body colors to choose from, including Wild Forest Green, Cloudy Grey, Glacier Silver, Distant Blue, Snowy White, and Black Glossy Paint. The 1.5T engine is provided by Mianyang Xinchun Power Machinery Co., Ltd., with a maximum power of 112 kilowatts, and the maximum power of the front and rear electric motors is 150 kilowatts and 200 kilowatts respectively. In addition, the fuel tank capacity of the Polestar 01 is 70 liters, and the lithium-ion battery pack is provided by CATL, with a capacity of 56 kilowatt-hours. The WLTC pure electric range under working conditions is 235 kilometers.
