【Phoneauto News】Recently, a report released by QuestMobile shows that nearly 30% of the new middle-class population uses high-end smartphones priced above 5000 yuan. Among them, the new middle-class population prefers to use Huawei phones, accounting for nearly 30%; 25% of the new middle-class population uses Apple phones; followed by Vivo, accounting for 15.2%. This indicates that Vivo’s high-end strategy has gradually gained popularity in recent years.

Huawei phones have a long history of high-end development, starting with the first generation Huawei Mate phone. This phone was equipped with the Kirin K3V2 processor, although its performance and power consumption were not ideal, it was already a significant improvement. The subsequent Huawei Mate 20 series was equipped with the Kirin 980 processor, becoming a classic generation. By this time, Huawei’s high-end development had already gained popularity. The Huawei Mate 30 series launched in 2019 was equipped with the industry’s first integrated 5G SoC Kirin 990, leading the mobile phone industry. The Kirin 9000 processor, which debuted on the Mate 40 series, truly achieved a “far ahead” position.
