Worldwide Toyota Highlander recall affects 1 million vehicles due to loose front bumper problems

【PhoneAuto News】Recently, PhoneAuto noticed that Toyota Motor Corporation announced a global recall of approximately 1 million Highlander SUVs due to a potential issue with the front bumper becoming loose.

The affected models include certain 2020-2023 Toyota Highlanders and Highlander Hybrid vehicles. According to Toyota spokesperson Josh Burns, approximately 751,000 vehicles in the United States are affected by this recall, with an additional 63,000 vehicles in Canada and Mexico.

Toyota stated that they have received reports from some consumers regarding this issue and identified a potential safety concern. Therefore, the company has decided to take proactive measures by recalling the affected models globally.

This recall will cover the front bumper of the vehicles, as there may be manufacturing defects or improper installation. If the front bumper becomes loose, it may cause instability while driving and increase the risk of accidents.

Toyota advises affected consumers to immediately stop using their vehicles and take them to designated repair stations for inspection and necessary repairs. Additionally, the company will provide necessary support and assistance to ensure the safety and satisfaction of affected consumers.

This recall is one of the significant steps taken by Toyota on a global scale. As one of the world’s largest automakers, Toyota has been committed to improving product quality and consumer experience, maintaining its leading position through continuous technological innovation and market expansion.
