【Mobile China News】On December 4th, Mobile China noticed that a blogger revealed that Vivo has been working on high-density battery cells. In addition to the flagship dual-cell 5400mAh+100W+50W already released, they are also refining the single-cell solutions of 5800mAh± and 6000mAh±. The former will be considered for flagship devices.
The “5400mAh+100W+50W” solution mentioned by the blogger appeared on the Vivo X100 series models. On the evening of November 13th, Vivo held a new product launch event, and the Vivo X100 Pro was officially introduced. The device is priced at 4,999 yuan for the 12GB+256GB variant, 5,499 yuan for the 16GB+512GB variant, and 5,999 yuan for the 16GB+1TB (LPDDR5T) variant.

In terms of specifications, the Vivo X100 Pro is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor. The high-end version with 16GB of memory uses LPDDR5T memory, achieving a benchmark score of over 2.2 million on the AnTuTu platform. It has a triple rear camera setup, with the main camera using the Sony IMX989 sensor and supporting 100x Clear Zoom from Zeiss. It features an 8T Retina display and has an equivalent 5400mAh battery from Blue Sea, supporting 100W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
Currently, it is unclear which Vivo flagship models will be equipped with the single-cell solutions of 5800mAh± and 6000mAh±. If they are part of the next-generation Vivo X series, we may have to wait another year to see their debut.
